Correct Selection and Use of Sleeves
Someone must ask whether the bolt will break or slide, does it not depend on the bolt itself? How to reduce breakage and slipping during installation? "Brick home," tells you that it has a lot to do with the operation method and the selection of the type of air cannon! The premise of not being afraid of breaking the bolts is first to understand the quality grade of the selected bolts and the installation torque value to be used. Then adjust or select the matching air cannon according to the torque value to avoid damage to the bolt.
Unit conversion of torque:
According to 1kgm=9.80665Nm, one kilogram is about 10Nm
Torque, (i.e. Nm) torque, 1kg (KG) force meter=9.81Nm, approximately equal to 10Nm Nm
Torque 3800 (Nm), i.e. 380 (KG/m)
Square head size of air cannon: 1 (in/min), i.e. 1 inch=2.54 cm
Gas consumption: 2040 (m3/min), i.e. 2040 m3/min
Idling speed: 4600 (r/min), that is, 4600 (r/min) r=speed.
For example, the working torque of the BX-5083A air cannon is 2200/Nm, and the maximum torque is 3100Nm (the maximum working torque is the torque generated when the air pressure is sufficient and the bolt is driven until the air cannon can not be driven. (Note: the air cannon is driven by the maximum working torque, not the working torque, so the probability of bolt fracture and thread slip will be increased at this time)
Damage to bolts caused by air cannon operation
1. After the bolts are tightened, the air cannon will not move until the bolts are drawn, and will stop when the sound of bang, bang, and bang occurs. At this time, the air cannon will work at the maximum torque, damaging the bolts.
2. The inner hole of the nut sleeve is not concentric with the square head of the air cannon (not at a working center point)
3. Improper selection of air cannon model, excessive torque has exceeded the bolt strength
4. The bolt grade strength was not correctly understood, and the wrong torque air cannon was used for installation.
5. When installing screws with hand-held air cannon, the posture is incorrect and the air cannon is inclined, which leads to uneven stress on nuts and screws, resulting in screw and nut slippage and fracture.
